Receiving message 'SLIA-01 RQ INVALID SGET RETURN CODE = 01' when doing an LJOB command

Issue/Introduction

Why do you receive the following message when doing the LJOB command?

SLIA-01 RQ INVALID SGET RETURN CODE = 01

Resolution

This message can indicate that a database entry or a data set is in error.

To resolve the problem perform the instructions below against the job getting SLIA-01:

1. Do a LIST on DB.3.1 requirements screen for the job in question.
   
   
2. Check to see if any of the data sets have **NOT FOUND**.
   
   
3. On the DB.3.1 screen do - FUNCTION: UPD with OPT: D on the data set showing **NOT FOUND**.
   
   
4. Perform a LOAD on job.
   
   
5. Rerun the LJOB,JOB=jobname,LIST=ALL
