What does the counter next to (external) indicate in health check statistic?

Resolution

In the following health check statistic, the indication of (external): 3 is a counter of failures

DNS Server

    Successes (total): 0      (last): Never      (consecutive): 0
    Failures  (total): 11277      (last): Mon, 15 May 2023 14:50:35 GMT      (consecutive): 11277      (external): 3
    Last response time: 150298 ms      Average response time: 150277 ms
    Minimum response time: 149721 ms      Maximum response time: 151166 ms

The counter will continue to increase until the failure threshold has triggered, it will then reset to zero.
