We have installed robot 9.36 or later on a linux version not listed on the compatibility matrix, or the probe matrix does not show the probe is compatible with the OS we have installed.
With the release of UIM 20.4 CU4, development has removed the glibc library check to allow you to install on uncertified OS's. This does not mean that the robot or the probes will work on this uncertified OS.
cdm probe may be the only probe that works on these untested robots.

In this example, robot 9.36 is installed on AIX 7.3. In the screenshot below, here is the list of all certified probes for AIX and its versions. Only db2 has been tested and certified to run on this OS.
If the probe works, great, you may continue to use it. If the probe does not work, it is currently not supported.
This is the same for any OS that is not certified, if it works, great, if not, there is nothing support can do to make it work.

What should you do? Open an idea on the community forum requesting the probe/OS be certified. You may also contact your Broadcom account manager who can contact the product manager to discuss your options.
How to raise an enhancement request for DX UIM (broadcom.com)
Linux OS's that are not in the supported robot list, when the robot is installed and it starts the first time as part of the installation, it does not create the required start up scripts when the OS is restarted. Customers will need to create their own scripts to start the robot.
