Issue/Introduction

The job is submitted by USER= and switches to the ALTID and receives an ICH408I during the processing of a SAS step within the processor.

ICH408I USER("ALTID" ) GROUP(xxxx    ) NAME(XXXXXXX           )
  CL(DIRSRCH ) FID(xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0000000000010001)
  INSUFFICIENT AUTHORITY TO GETCWD
  ACCESS INTENT(--X)  ACCESS ALLOWED(OTHER      ---)
  EFFECTIVE UID(xxxxxxxx)  EFFECTIVE GID(xxxxxxxx)

FID(xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0000000000010001) was the home directory of the submitter ID.

Environment

Resolution

Starting with SAS 9.0.0, service BPX1GCW is invoked and when the step is run under the ALTID, this ID requires access to the home directory of the submitter ID.

To resolve the issue under RACF, read access to the UNIXPRIV class for the SUPERUSER.FILESYS.DIRSRCH profile was granted.
