report scheduler reporting success when job actually failed

Issue/Introduction

I have a report that's scheduled to execute once a day. The most recent run result is:

This would lead one to believe the report ran fine. Problem is that the report is supposed to be emailed and no email ever arrives.

The word "Success" is a hyperlink and selecting it returns some significantly more negative indications:

So why is the job status "Success" when no report was generated?

Release : 20.4

Resolution

This is a defect in the ReportScheduler portlet which is resolved in UIM/OC 20.4 CU8.

The proper Failed status will now be reflected in the ReportScheduler when a report fails to generate.
