Questions about how to interpret the credential report for Historical count of credentials registered at your organization and "VIP Issuer Type"

Resolution

The difference between "Your Organization" and "Other VIP Member Organization" is who issued the credential.

Symantec VIP does offer the ability to build your own VIP Credentials using the VIP Software Development Kit (SDK) for customers that want to customize the application and integrate it with their proprietary software. In this case, the credential would be generated by "Your Organization" and would show in this row.

Traditional Symantec VIP Credentials were generated by Symantec (Desktop and Mobile Credentials) or by one of our partners (physical tokens). These types of credentials were not generated by your organization and would show under the "Other VIP Member Organization".

*Note: The Credential Reports can only show the credentials registered to this Jurisdiction Hash or account.
