Issue/Introduction

We observed Discovery wizard is not allowing removal/deletion of credentials that have already previously been added, and existing scopes as well. This is creating a lot of clutter in those pages when selecting and performing discovery, as well as a level of confusion for users doing this activity.


>> This issue has been present since the installation of PROD v20.1. We have attempted this action many times in various browsers. It has never worked in PROD and even after version upgrades also it has not been fixed.

Followed the below KB but still have not resolved the issue:

Also, the credentials are not tied to any agent and are independent, so we fail to see the connection between the agent and created credentials.

Unable to delete scopes (selecting YES yields no activity).

Environment

  • UIM: 20.4 and later
  • OC: 20.4 and later

Resolution

  • It works with the Server IP/Host, meaning Tomcat has no issues handling the request. But it fails only when it is routed through the Load Balancer.
  • Check other settings in F5 to make sure the request is not missing any required headers or payload.
