How to Reload Threshold Definitions as of SYSVIEW R17.0

Issue/Introduction

Trying to test CICS cancellation definitions on our Q/A LPAR, that is where the new  Release  17.0.00 Build 1010   was just installed. Logged on there and discovered that the CTHRESH definitions are all different. Tried to do a Reload Cold and I'm getting an invalid command. Looking at the DOC, I don't see how to reload the new CTHRESH Definitions.

Environment

Release : 17.0 and newer

Cause

The metrics area of SYSVIEW were enhanced in the 17.0 release

Resolution

The command to load must be done from the RULES CICS area.  Enter command RULES CICS to access this area.

Once there issue either:

       RELOAD CICST WARM  - to reload from the datalib source

       RELOAD CICST COLD - to reload from the parmlib members

 

If the rules you are wanting to load are STATES, the command would be similar:

      RELOAD CICSS WARM  - to get from the datalib source

      RELOAD CICSS COLD - to get from the parmlib members
