DX UIM url_response/net_connect automations using API

Issue/Introduction

hubs include several probes like url_response and net_connect - its configuration is stored in *.cfg files. We have no database. Is there a way for us to automate monitoring for both url_response/net_connect probes, does that require having a database and utilizing REST API, or are there some other ways? If database + REST API is the only way, how could we achieve that?

If you're looking to use an API to manipulate/automate probe configuration, you can use the UIMAPI for gets, posts, puts and deletes.
