14.4 Imps upgrade fail

Issue/Introduction

While upgrading imps from 14.3 to 14.4 and see the following error

 

Install, com.ca.etrust.install.product.InstallEtrustCommonServices, err, ProductException: (error code = -1; message="Installing CA Enterprise Common Services failed.")
STACK_TRACE: 13 ProductException: (error code = -1; message="Installing CA Enterprise Common Services failed.")

Environment

Release :  Identity Manager 14.4

Cause

Lack of kernel semaphore

Resolution

Increase the semaphore by editing file /etc/sysctl.conf

Add the following at the end of the file: kernel.sem = 250 32000 32 260
