when we try to create a alert contact in ASM it is sending confirmation code as screenshot attached what this confirmation code feature is and I am not able to find anything in the document.
Please provide some information on this ask. Will this impact existing contacts?

You create contacts that receive performance issue alerts. All we are doing in the image is validate that your are a legitimate contact. This is only when adding a new contact
This is mentioned as a new feature
