Check expression for 2.1.2 Ensure 'ADMIN_RESTRICTIONS_<listener_name>' Is Set to 'ON'

Issue/Introduction

Predefined standard: CIS Oracle Database 19c Benchmark v1.0.0

Check: 2.1.2 Ensure 'ADMIN_RESTRICTIONS_<listener_name>' Is Set to 'ON'

The check is failing even though the correct setting is in the listener.ora file.

Environment

Release : CCS Infra Release 12.6.1

Cause

It was found the listener.ora had been created/modified on a Windows system then copied over to Linux.

This had the affect of having ^M at the end of each line.

Resolution

Edit the listener.ora file on the Unix/Linux system and remove the ^M at the end of each line.

dos2unix command or 'vi -b listener.ora' and manually remove them.

Once  that is done re-run the job and the check will now pass.
