Update EEM to add groups under workloadautomationaewebservice

Issue/Introduction

Is there a way to add a group rather than an individual's ID to a  "Application Group Membership"? 

There is a need to use groups to grant access to "Web Services" workloadautomationaewebservice in EEM.

 

Environment

Autosys 12.x
EEM 12.x

Resolution

Create a new dynamic user group policy within EEM's WorkloadAutomationAE application.
The name of the policy can be whatever you want.
Set the resource in the policy to be WorkloadAutomationAEWebService.
And then in the identities section assign who you want to be a member of that group...
specific individual users, or global or application groups...

That will give them access to the AutoSysWebService.
The AEWS just checks if the user is a member of a group name "WorkloadAutomationAEWebService"
it does not matter it if is a global or application or dynamic user group.
