Issue/Introduction

Defined a Dynamic Capacity Intelligence (DCI) Alert, using MSULIMIT type:

ID           ALERT1
Type         MSULIMIT
Policy       BUSINESS_TIME_POLICY
EMail-ID     EMAIL1
CPCID        AAA1
GRP/SYS      SYS1
% Limit      90
MSU Limit    350

However, it doesn't get triggered even if the current MSU value for SYS1 LPAR is greater than the specified percent of the MSU Limit value (i.e. 90% of 350 = 315).

Environment

Release : 2.0

Resolution

MSULIMIT type of Alerts are triggered based on R4HA value, not on ACTMSU one. See "Differences between MSULIMIT and CAPLIMIT DCI alert types" article.
