Issue/Introduction

You want to install the Dollar Universe Z/OS Manager 6.10.61 on a Z/OS system (Mainframe) but the transfer cannot be done via FTP as the service is not available on the Target System.

Is there a binary package that could be provided to transfer the kit in TERSE format?

Release : 6.10.61

OS: MVS (z/OS)

Cause

FTP not available in recent z/OS systems due to security reasons.

Resolution

You can use the attached TRS container to install the Manager for z/OS on systems where FTP is not available.

The generated file is attached to this article ==> MGR61061.TRS (please rename it accordingly after downloading it)

Additional Information

In future releases of the Manager for z/OS this TRS file should also be published and available in the Downloads site.
