Issue/Introduction

Upgrading from SSM V2 to SSM V3 and followed the Guide.

Change SSMVERSION to 3, that's okay done online but to be sure, bounced OPS/MVS

At the 4.11.P panel and next step to Discover Resources, requires P for Policies, but nothing is there when I select it: 

P   Policies     - Manage SSM policies                            
R   Resources    - Define SSM policy by resource                  
UC  User Columns - Select SSM user columns to include in policy   
UT  User Types   - Define custom SSM resource types               

Am I missing something here going from V2 to V3 

I am to go to =4.1.P.P in order to do the discovery 

 

Cause

CCLXTENU not defined 

Resolution

First check that the parameter SSMVERSION is set to 3.  (=4.1.1 panel)

This symptom indicates a problem with the allocation of the OPS ISPF libraries. Most likely the CCLXTENU is not allocated. Refer to the sample REXX OPSVLBDF delivered in the CCLXSAMP library.

In addition, review the section "Make OPSVIEW Facilities Available Under TSO" in the OPS/MVS manual for further details.
