Issue/Introduction

In the cost plan, when an amount is entered into the totals column, Clarity pro-rates the amount across all the periods between the start and end date of the cost plan. However, it pro-rates the amounts based on # of days within each period, instead of equally pro-rating for each period.
Is there an option to have Clarity pro-rate equally across each period between the start and end date of the cost plan?

Resolution

This is by design and works this way for all TSV

The spreading of the total value for the following TSV metrics is based on the number of calendar days in the month, quarter, or year. For example, in Q1 there are fewer days because February has only 28 days. Hence, the value is smaller in Q1 than in Q2.

The spreading of the total value for the following TSV metrics is based on workdays. Depending on the number of hours a specific workday constitutes, a metric might display a higher or lower amount per period.
