SDM pre configuration steps fails when applying SDM 17.3 RU patch

Issue/Introduction

RU install wizard fails with "Exception occurred while running PreConfigureActions" error and install.log shows

[TelemetryInitialDataLoad] Number of Rows from usp_telemetry_monthly table : 0
2023/04/20 14.08.03.205 ERROR [DeployThread: Executing pre-configuration steps for CA Service Desk Manager updates: 17.3.0.20] [TelemetryInitialDataLoad] Exception in DB operation Column name 'extended_info' is invalid .

Environment

CA Service Desk Manager 17.3

Resolution

Manually create these fields in the ca_telemetry MDB table:

extended_info: varchar(4000) null

date_collected_int: int null

version_number: int null

Once these fields are created, run the RU20 installer again
