Why are the temp storage records for Ideal users and Ideal systems not deleted even after sign off?

Resolution

The user records are not deleted even after the user signs off Ideal to eliminate the need to re-access the Datacom Dictionary for logon information, thereby improving logon performance for subsequent logons to Ideal.

The system records are not deleted from temporary storage unless the Ideal system definition is updated within the CICS region. The presence of these records improves performance by eliminating the need to access the Datacom Dictionary each time a system is accessed with the region.
