How can I clear Highlighted and Held messages from the Vollie Console?

Normally messages will go away with the DELETE nn,SYSTEM command (or PF6). There are some messages that will remain in a highlight/held status. The entire console is full of the messages and the operator is unable to see new console activity.

To clear the entire console use OPE CASHUTCA.
This command will delete ALL messages from the operator console.

If you want to clear a line, use OPE K E,n
Where 'n' is the line number on the screen where the highlighted message appears .
