Provisioning Server log entry errno=10048 (WSAEADDRINUSE)

Issue/Introduction

During Provisioning Servers startup, logging entry errno=10048 (WSAEADDRINUSE) in im_ps.log file.  This error did not happen to all imps machines and the provisioning server functioned properly.  What is the root cause of it?

Environment

Identity Manager 14.x

Cause

This was due to both localhost and hostname binding the same port 20389 and 20390 based on the registry setting

Resolution

This is a false alarm and can be ignored.  However, the error can be removed by enable IPV6
