Issue/Introduction

Compiling with Cob 4.2 this sidefile step ended with RC = 0

C1X0010I  STEP ENDVRX60 PROGRAM IKJEFT1A COMPLETED, RC=0000

 

However, compiling with Cob 6.3 this sidefile step is getting:

C1X0012I  STEP SIDEMAKE INVOKING PROGRAM IDILANGX                      

C1X0013I  PARM=ENBR223 (COBOL ERROR OFT IDILANGX FAULT                 

C1X0010I  STEP SIDEMAKE PROGRAM IDILANGX COMPLETED,RC=0310            

C1X0014I  STEP 0021 (ENDVRX60) NOT EXECUTED BECAUSE OF CONDITION CODE(S)

 

COBOL 6 jobs are getting the following error messages:

 +IDISF8136S Premature COBOL listing End-of-File encountered.   
 +IDISF8132S Input or Output file format invalid.

Any ideas / assistance on this?

Additional Information

To create LANGX side files, the IPVLANGX utility is used. The IPVLANGX utility is provided with ADFz Common Components. IDILANGX is an alias of IPVLANGX.
