During intial setup we are getting an error "Domain Name is Invalid"

Issue/Introduction

Software vPCA deployment on VMWare installed fine, but setting network failed, did not accept domain name of "xxxx.local"

Errored with the following

 

Network configuration could not be set

Please contact [email protected]

Response from API was

message = domain name is invalid

error = 400

Environment

Release : 14.25.1

vPCA deployment on VMWare 

Cause

Software bug that prevented domain to be saved that has <domain name.local>

Resolution

This has been reported to Appneta Engineering, as a workaround you can simply reboot the VM and when going through the network configuration leave the domain name blank for step 8.
