User Account Lockout for non-ZFP authentication flow in VIP AuthHub

Issue/Introduction

 

When running AuthHub with Siteminder, how to get the lockout and auto-unlock feature to work with the "VIP Authentication Hub Template" Auth Scheme is used (non-ZFP)?

 

Environment

 

  Policy Server 12.8SP7 on RedHat 8;
  AdminUI 12.8SP7 on RedHat 8;
  VIP AuthHub Oct2022 3211;

 

Cause

 

Out of the box and as per the documentation, the auto-unlock is only for ZFP flow (1):

  "This setting is used only if the ZFP flow is used by the client."

 

Resolution

 

To unlock the user, run the API (2).
