Roadmap Item Board View > Details Update Freezes Whole Page

Issue/Introduction

Roadmap non-responsive when a change is made. Browser control freezes and gets stuck.

Steps To Reproduce
1. Go to an example roadmap > roadmap item > Board view
2. Click on Details.
3. Make a change to an attribute.

Expected: Value should change and navigation to other areas of page should work.
Actual: Page freezes indefinitely. Browser has to be closed and reopened.
Upon reopening,  the change persists/value does update. 

What is being called that it fails/freezing the browser for specific users?

Environment

Release : 16.0.3

Resolution

The issue does not happen when enabling browser Developer Tools.

Since the reported issue is in 16.0.3, the 16.1.1+ version, the entire Roadmap Item board layout (and all the boards in the product) is revamped to make use of the Bryntum board.
