Issue/Introduction

What is the URL and the default username to login to the Symantec DCS UMC portal

Environment

Release : 6.7.x -6.9.x

 

Resolution

For the first time login, UMC uses the default user account - dcsadmin

To launch the UMC web-portal:

1.  In a web browser, enter the URL in the following format:
        https://UMCserverHostnameorIPAddress:8443/webportal/

2.  Log in to UMC, the username is dcsadmin and the password is the one you specified for the user dcsadmin while installing via server.exe
