sisipstray.exe unable to start due to Application Error

Issue/Introduction

When sisipstray.exe is run by the logged in user the program fails to load. It terminates with the following error box:

sisipstray.exe - Application Error.  The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000022). Click OK to close the application.

If the user right clicks and select "Run as administrator" the program will start correctly even though UAC is turned off on the computer and the person running the program is a domain admin.

 

 

Cause

An inherited rights filter exists at the folder level.

Resolution

Manually adding the logged in user at the folder or file level with read & execute permissions corrected the problem.
