Using 21.x agents with 12.x Automation Engine

Issue/Introduction

We are getting "Filelimit exceeded error" trying to load the Automation.Engine_PCK.AUTOMIC_CAU_AGENT_UNIX_21_0_5+hf.1.build.167847179959.zip into our 12.x Automation Engine. Is it possible to to use Version 21.x agents in a Automation Engine 12.x environment?

Resolution

You will not be able to use Version 21.x agents in a Automation Engine 12.x environment. The major versions for the Automation Engine and agent has to be the same. You can use same supported major versions agents (example 21.x agents with 21.x automation engine) .
