Issue/Introduction

Broadcom recommends Oracle DBA to partition CA Identity Manager tables to improve performance.
There is some of ARCHIVE tables from IM that are slow, and DBA wants to know if can implement Partitioning in this to improve performance?

Environment

Release : 14.4.2

Resolution

Broadcom has not done testing with an Oracle Partition. As long as the data is available at the same JDBC URL our software should have no issues with partitioning.
You should work with the DBA to test this thoroughly before implementing in production or open one idea in our communities to request we Support Oracle Partitioning steps in our docs in future releases of Product.
