JCL corruption issue defining new job in CA 7 using LJCL command

Issue/Introduction

Users are defining a job in CA 7 and getting strange errors when LJCL command is issued.

For example:

Environment

Release : 12.1

Resolution

Lay out of library TSHRPD.JCL.LIB shows that PACK is turned on for the TSO Profile for the Users updating this Library (“on” is the default).

Issue the PACK OFF command to remove pack format.
