Issue/Introduction

When trying to run a job that issues the TSO ACCOUNT command, the job failed with RC=12 and the following error messages:

IKJ56553I COMMAND NOT AUTHORIZED FOR acid +
IKJ56553I YOUR INSTALLATION MUST AUTHORIZE USE OF THIS COMMAND

There aren't any Top Secret errors or violations. What is needed to satisfy this error?

IKJ56553I - COMMAND NOT AUTHORIZED FOR USERID + YOUR INSTALLATION MUST AUTHORIZE USE OF THIS COMMAND

Explanation
The user is described in the UADS without account ability. The user must logon with a new user ID that has been authorized to use the ACCOUNT command.

If the user’s TSO signon information is coming from Top Secret, the equivalent of the UADS ACCOUNT command authority is TSOAUTH(ACCT).
