It has been identified that there is an issue when a custom H&S job exists that when you run an update in the LU workspace only the AppServer shows up.
When a custom H&S job exists and you run the Update from LiveUpdate workspace OR you run the Refresh H&S from the Deployment View only the AppServer gets updated the CCS Managers do not get updated, as they are only updated via the custom H&S job(s).
Issues
The following issues were observed in the LiveUpdate workspace:
● When a custom Health and Status job was configured to run for scanning CCS Managers, neither CCS Managers
nor the details of their update were listed in the LiveUpdate workspace.
● Clicking on Check Updates started the default Health and Status job that scanned only the Application Server and
Directory Support Service but did not scan CCS Managers.
Release : CCS Infra Release 12.6.1
Resolution
Installing the Hotfix (HF) 10106 fixes these issues. After the installation, the LiveUpdate workspace works as follows:
● The LiveUpdate workspace now displays the details from the most recent custom Health and Status job in addition
to the details from the most recent default Health and Status job, when a custom Health and Status job is
configured to run. The information that is displayed includes update details for the CCS Managers, Application
Server, and Directory Support Service.
● When you click Check Updates from the Common Tasks menu, a Full Health and Status job is run that scans all
the CCS infrastructure components, including CCS Managers, Application Server, and Directory Support Service.
The Full Health and Status job scans all the CCS infrastructure components regardless of whether a custom
Health and Status job has been configured to scan CCS Managers or not.
