CARA upgrade 6.6 to 6.8 does not progress and hangs after backing up application files

Issue/Introduction

During the upgrade of Nolio Release AUtomation from 6.6 to 6.8, it does not progress and hangs after backing up application files:

About to perform upgrade
You have selected to upgrade an existing installation.
Your old application will be replaced, while your existing configuration
will be migrated into the upgraded version.
Upgrade Release Automation Server
The following components are about to be upgraded:
- Data Management server
- Execution server
Before proceeding with the upgrade:
- please make sure to close all Release Automation UI sessions.
- please make sure Release Automation Service is down.
MySQL database connector
Please provide a path to the existing MySQL database connector JAR.
A few Nolio actions rely on the MySQL connector. Therefore, the relevant
actions will not work if the connector JAR is unavailable.
The minimum version required is mysql-connector-java-5.1.49.jar.

Checking for running jobs
Stopping Server service and watchdog service
Backing up configuration files
Backing up configuration files
Backing up application files

Environment

Release : 6.8

Cause

Not enough disk space in /tmp directory

Resolution

The upgrade documentation specifies that TEMP has to be 3.5 GB.
Upgrade Nolio Release Automation
Increasing disk space in /tmp resolves this problem
