SMTP username and password configuration support for Dollar Universe

Issue/Introduction

An email notification is required for any batch job failures and the SMTP server requires username and password.  Does Dollar Universe Application Server support SMTP configuration with username and password ?

Release : 6.x, 7.x

Resolution

Dollar Universe Application Server currently does not support SMTP with username/password in its SMTP configuration. A possible solution is to use an SMTP relay which does not need any authentication and the SMTP relay can forward the request to an SMTP server that performs the authentication. Please check with your System/Network Administrator for more details.
