Issue/Introduction

Currently we are on Centos 7 Linux for our clarity application and  Centos 7 and Centos 8 have reach End Of Life (EOL) on December 31st, 2021 and we want migrate to supported linux.

Also security scans have reported vulnerabilities from centos 7 and you want to mitigate it by moving to supported linux

Environment

Release : 16.1.0, 16.1.1

Resolution

CentOs 8 is not officially certified.  We certified Red Hat Linux 8 which is the binary equivalent of Centos 8.

We have no plans at this time to certify Rocky Linux.  However, since it is the binary equivalent of RedHat (which we do certify), we do not foresee any issues supporting it and would not turn down support if you faced an issue.
