Issue/Introduction

On this user's system (Win10 laptop), when in CA PAM on the Access tab, clicking the 'RDP Win 10 Native' on any system does not open the RDP application.  The small grey popup does appear (showing the local port) when the button is clicked, but nothing further happens.

We have confirmed that manually opening the RDP client and connecting to the server name or IP does succeed.

We have also confirmed that we are able to connect successfully using the 127.0.0.1:PORT after clicking the 'RDP Win 10 Native' in PAM.

Environment

Release : 4.1

Cause

In this case the client had defined a set port which was already in use on this one endusers workstation in the TCP/UDP services which caused the service to fail to connect

Resolution

The issue was resolved by setting the  port in the TCP/UDP service to * as seen here
