Tried to install FDM patch and seeing message :This app can't be activated by the Built-in Administrator

Issue/Introduction

Hi Team,

Tried to install FDM patch , But it got failed to install

 

 

Environment

Release : 4.10

Cause

 The User installing does not have permission on the machine . 

Resolution

When we tried to apply the FDM patch,  we are not able to install this. 

We are seeing this message  in the Windows event logs. 

Activation of app Microsoft.Windows.Apprep.ChxApp_cw5n1h2txyewy!App failed with error: This app can't be activated by the Built-in Administrator. See the Microsoft-Windows-TWinUI/Operational log for additional information.

Please work with your security team  to have this application installed. 

Its something with apps getting downloaded on that Windows server.  The Windows event logs had this message:  : This app can't be activated by the Built-in Administrator

Please work with your Security team.  some setting in " Local Security Policy" -> Local policy. ->Security option -> User Account Control : Allow UIAccess  applicaitions

User Account Control : Admin Approval Mode for Built -in Administrator account..   These need to be " ENABLED"
