As part of the traffic processing, Cloudsoc classifies the traffic as internal or external, this classification impact the way the traffic is handled (Policy enforcement, Obfuscation ..etc).
The classification is based on some criteria, this article clarifies them.
Any account that satisfies one of these two conditions will be considered as "External":
1- If the user account belongs to a domain that is not defined in Cloudsoc as either Primary Domain nor as a Secondary one.
2- If the user account belongs to an internal domain (either Primary or Secondary) but the user account does not exist in Cloudsoc.
Examples:
Assume Cloudsoc domains are INT-DOMAIN1.COM, INT-DOMAIN2.COM. and users defined are [email protected], and [email protected]
the following users will be considered external:
[email protected] , [email protected], [email protected] , [email protected]
