Large memory leak in browser process when on the interface page of a device

Issue/Introduction

We have noticed that when we stay on the interface page of a device, the memory usage for the browser continues to increase until saturation. This is causing major latency has the memory reached a huge percentage of utilization.

If we change the page, the memory stops increasing but accumulated memory is not released.

We have noticed this issue in UIM 20.4 CU4 and CU5

Our configuration is the following :

• CA-UIM 20.4 CU5
• Firefox 102.2.0esr

Resolution

This will be resolved in CU7, but is also currently available in 20.50T1 of the ump_operatorconsole package.
