Enabling debug logs for LDAP functionality in clarity

Issue/Introduction

This article is to describe the steps needed to enable LDAP debugging in clarity. 

Environment

Release : All supported releases.

Resolution

1. Log in to Clarity as an Administrator
2. Replace everything after 'action:' in the URL with 'Security.Logs'
3. Click on the Logs drop-down and select 'Edit Configuration'
4. Click Add Category
5. Scroll down to the new category created and add the following
   Other Name = com.niku.security
   Appender = STDOUT
   Priority = Debug
6. Click Save
   
   

NOTE:

To debug LDAP jobs the other debug classes apart from com.niku.security on which debug can be enabled:

• com.niku.xql2 
• com.niku.xog
