New copy feature (which copies sub objects) breaks GEL script that also does a copy of sub objects

Issue/Introduction

You have custom processes and gel scripts that copy sub objects when an investment is copied.

After 16.1.1, you are now seeing duplicates.

Environment

Release : 16.1.1

Cause

There is a new Enhanced Copy functionality in 16.1.1

Resolution

For SaaS customers, please contact Technical Support to have this feature disabled.

For On Premise customers, apply 16.1.1 Patch 1 and then run this query:

UPDATE CMN_FEATURES SET ENABLED = 0 WHERE CODE = 'DISABLE_COPY_FROM_TEMPLATE_SUBOBJECT_COPY_DE68998';
