Issue/Introduction

After applying maintenance errors "LDM0521E File server request failed - function=17 ddname=ddname fileid return code=64 reason code=140" in LSERV causing abends in Endevor jobs.
Moving back the maintenance resolve the problem.
No maintenance was applied to Endevor.

Most of the PTF are updating CCS libraries, including PTF for L-Serv.
Also,there is mention of L-Serv in the Hold Data is a DOC item for LU07227 which says to read the "View z/OS Function Registry Data" section in Common Services book for an enhancement -- but that section does not exist in the R15 book online.

Cause

FILE SERVER not working after LU09123

Resolution

Check that LU09123 has been recently applied, if so, apply LU09554.
