SOI - Helpdesk connector - tomcat Version upgrade to 9.0.73

Issue/Introduction

The tomcat version of the SOI Helpdesk connector (Nimserver) currently is on 9.0.45.  Is there a procedure available to upgrade it to 9.0.73?

Environment

Release : 4.2

Resolution

The below steps have been confirmed to upgrade Tomcat from 9.0.45 to version 9.0.73 on SOI 4.2.

1. Stop the NIM server from services.msc
2. Take a backup of the existing CA\SOI\nimServer folder.
3. Copy all the folders and files under nimServer\ from the extracted zip file and replace to existing CA\SOI\nimServer\ folder.
4. Replace CA\SOI\nimServer\conf\server.xml from backed-up nimServer\conf\server.xml
5. Start NIM server from services.msc
