IM - when dragging and dropping packages from archive, the list jumps up or down depending on your mouse position as you cross the scroll bar

Issue/Introduction

When you drag a package from the IM archive to a robot in the tree view, the tree view jumps up or down a row depending on whether or not your mouse passes over the vertical tree view scroll bar above or below the half way point.

Is there a way to make it hold still?

 

Environment

Release : 20.4 CU6 and prior

Resolution

In Infrastructure Manager, the scrollbar between panes is divided into two halves - upper and lower - and when you cross the scrollbar while dragging a package, it moves up or down depending on which half you are in.

This will be resolved in CU7 with a new Infrastructure Manager that divides it into thirds instead as seen below:

 

Dragging across the marked sections will still scroll up and down but dragging across the middle/unmarked section will not move the tree view.

CU7 is available and contains a fix for this issue.
