Detection Servers taking a very long time (30 - 60 mins) to come back to Ready after restarting Enforce services.

Issue/Introduction

After upgrading to DLP 16.0, Detection Servers are taking a very long time (30 - 60 mins) to come back to Ready after restarting Enforce services.

When SymnatecDLPDetectionServerController is restarted detection servers remain in a delayed Unknown state after upgrading to DLP 16.0.

Resolution

Workaround:

Restart the SymantecDLPDetectionServer service on each detection server to return to Ready state quicker.

this is resolved with 16.0MP1HF1 and later versions.
