Issue/Introduction

Adding a custom calculated attribute in MUX on Investment object and the ACA field does not show the display mappings in UI, just the numbers in 16.1.1

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

  1. Open Clarity Objects - Investment
  2. Create a new custom Aggregated Calculated Attribute "Overall Status Indicator" with expression
    AGG_Max(cop_prj_statusrpt.cop_overall_status)
  • Filter ( Status Report Latest = 1 )
  • Add Display Mappings
  • Green - On Track 1 -40
  • Yellow - Needs Help 40 -70
  • Red - At Risk 70-100
  • Add API Attribute ID
  • Save
  1. Now go to Modern UX - Blueprints and add the attribute to Project Properties and Grid view
  2. Go to a Project Status and create a new Final Status report - Fill in the Status fields for the Overall Status to display
  3. Now go to Project Properties and Project Grid and note the field Overall Status Indicator

Expected Results: The custom Aggregated Calculated Attribute "Overall Status Indicator" should display "On Track", "Needs Help" or "At Risk"

Actual Results: The custom Aggregated Calculated Attribute "Overall Status Indicator" displays a number instead

Workaround: None

Environment

Release : 16.1.1

Resolution

This is DE68895, NAB

  1. Go to Administration workspace(MUX)
  2. Go to Attributes grid
  3. Add a column Display Type to the grid
  4. Search for the attribute you wanted to configure display type
  5. Set the display type to "Range Description and Value"
  6. Go to Project/Idea grid
  7. Verify the attribute for display mapping description.

Note Range Description and Range Description and Value currently yield the same result, which is by design
