Issue/Introduction

Multiple RHEL 7.9 servers are experiencing high utilization from the PAMSC endpoint, what is causing this issue?

Cause

This problem was introduced by RedHat making a kernel change which started back in the 3.10.0-160.62.1.el7.x86_64 kernel. For any RHEL 7.9 kernel at this level or higher you will need to upgrade the endpoint.

Resolution

Upgrade to the latest endpoint build available from our download site
