Firmware upload in Spectrum Network Configuration Manager (NCM) using SCP taking a very long time to complete.

Cause

When running an SCP upload from the command line, in this specific instance, it was estimated to take 5+ hours for the upload to complete.

This indicated an issue with the network.

Resolution

No issue with Spectrum. This was an issue with the network.

Additional Information

For this issue, we ran an SCP from the command line to upload the file to the device.

scp <file> user@host:/destination

For Cisco flash:

scp <file> user@host:ciscofile.bin
