Issue/Introduction

Is there a way to automate the addition of local good/bad sender domains to SMG?

Environment

Release: 10.7.X 10.8.X 10.9.X

Resolution

Currently, there is no API or automated scripting option available for adding local good/bad sender domains to SMG. The process must be handled manually.

There are two methods to add domains to the local good/bad sender list in the Control Center's "Reputation" tab:

  1. Manually entering the domains.
  2. Importing a text file with group members, formatted according to specific requirements.

It's important to note that the Control Center only supports files encoded in US-ASCII, meaning it cannot process files containing extended ASCII or non-ASCII characters.
