Issue/Introduction

Can you provide a qualified answer to whether the current Kubernetes supports OpenShift 4.X version?

We were unable to confirm this information, as specified in https://techdocs.broadcom.com/us/en/ca-enterprise-software/it-operations-management/ca-unified-infrastructure-management-probes/GA/monitoring/clouds-containers-and-virtualization/Kubernetes-monitoring.html

 

Environment

Release : 20.4

Resolution

The Kubernetes probe released is capable of monitoring the standard Kubernetes cluster deployment in an environment.

Openshift is a slightly different solution and we are actively working on another Openshift probe that would enable you to monitor your Openshift deployment.

The  OpenShift probe is planned to be released by early May.
